FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT (7TH & 8TH GRADE)
Registration: Begins March 1, closes April 15
Students who will be in grades 7-12 in the fall and will be attending East High are eligible.
Regular Season Activities: June 9 – October 27
Practice Days:
Mondays & Thursday evenings, with Wednesday and Saturday morning activities for some groups during the summer

Aug. 16: Snowbasin (HS & Jr. Devo)
Aug. 30: Herriman (HS & Jr. Devo)
Sep. 13: Beaver City (HS & Jr. Devo)
Sep. 27: Soldier Hollow (HS only)
Oct. 17/18: Cedar City (State Champs: Qualifying HS students)
Jr. Devo generally race before 10 am and HS students between 10 am and 4 pm.

*East High MTB is a volunteer-run organization. All families will be given a volunteer assignment (minimum 10-15 hours throughout the season) for each rider they have on the team. Upon completion of the assignment, $75 of your team fee is refundable. If you are not able to complete the assignment, we will put your $75 refundable portion towards one of our programs. You may also get some stink eye.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE is available. For students on free or reduced lunch, up to 80% of team and league fees will be covered. Others will be considered for financial assistance on a case by case basis.
TEAM BIKES: A limited number of team bikes are available for rent for the duration of the season. Use of team bikes will be determined by the head coach.
REQUIREMENTS:
Each rider must have a functioning, safe bike appropriate for cross country trails.
Each rider must ride with a helmet.
Each rider must ride with a spare tube for their wheel as well as a way to inflate it.
Each rider must carry an appropriate amount of hydration on their rides.
Each rider must wear appropriate clothing for the trail and weather conditions.
Each rider must abide by the NICA Code of Conduct.
